Where we came from,
and why it matters.

The people who founded Aghomi Energy came from the industry itself. They worked the projects, managed the sites, dealt with the pressure of real operations, and built up a clear picture over time of what good service in this sector actually requires. They also saw clearly what was missing.

Nigeria’s oil and gas industry has long relied heavily on foreign service companies and, closer to home, on local operators that were strong in one region but could not follow a client to a project elsewhere in the country. What the market needed was a credible, well-run indigenous company that could compete technically, maintain its standards wherever it was deployed, and treat every project — whether in Lagos, the Niger Delta, the eastern producing states, or elsewhere — with the same level of rigour and professionalism.

That is what Aghomi Energy was built to be. We are registered in Lagos, which reflects our ambition and our footprint. We maintain strong operational experience in the Niger Delta and carry that ground-level knowledge with us to every engagement across the country.

We have grown steadily because we have consistently done what we said we would do. We commit to what we can deliver, and then we deliver it. That reputation is what has brought clients back to us and what continues to generate new relationships across the industry.

Our ambition is to be the most trusted indigenous oil and gas service company in Nigeria — and eventually to take that capability into wider West African markets.

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

Make the work go well, everywhere.

To provide safe, technically sound, and professionally managed oil and gas services that help operators across Nigeria produce energy efficiently, protect the environment, and create genuine value for the communities their operations touch. We are here to make the work go well, whoever the client is and wherever the job takes us.

Our Vision

Nigeria’s foremost indigenous oil and gas company.

To be Nigeria’s foremost indigenous oil and gas servicing company, recognised across the industry not just for what we deliver, but for how we deliver it: with integrity, with consistent professionalism, and with a genuine commitment to the people and environments affected by the work we do. We want operators across the country to think of Aghomi Energy first, and to keep coming back.

Our Values

What We
Stand For

Six principles shape every decision we make, every project we take on, and every relationship we build across Nigeria’s energy industry.

Our Stand Image
Integrity

We do what we say we will do. We are honest with our clients, transparent in how we operate, and accountable when things do not go as planned. Trust is not something we ask for — it is something we earn, one honest interaction at a time.

Safety

Nobody gets hurt. That is the standard we hold ourselves to on every job, in every location, for every client. HSE is not a compliance exercise — it is a personal commitment every member of our team carries onto site every single day.

Excellence

We care about doing good work. Not work that is adequate, but work we are genuinely proud of. We hold ourselves to high internal standards and pursue them consistently, because our clients are counting on us to get it right.

National Commitment

We believe in Nigerian capability. We invest in Nigerian professionals, we favour Nigerian suppliers where quality and reliability meet our requirements, and we want the success of Aghomi Energy to have a positive effect on the broader industry.

Innovation

We stay current with evolving methods, technologies, and industry best practices. We encourage our people to think practically and creatively, to identify better ways of doing things, and to bring those ideas to their work.

Partnership

We invest ourselves in the outcomes of the projects we work on. Our best client relationships do not feel like vendor arrangements — they feel like collaboration between people with a shared interest in getting the job done right.

Our Team

Leadership Team

The people leading Aghomi Energy bring decades of hands-on experience from across Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.

Managing Director & Founder

Aghogho Aghomi

Aghogho Aghomi founded Aghomi Energy after more than fifteen years working across upstream and midstream operations in the Niger Delta, where he developed a clear understanding of what good service in this industry actually demands. His experience spans drilling supervision, project management, and client operations for both indigenous and international operators across Delta, Rivers, and Bayelsa States. He founded the company with a straightforward conviction: that a well-run, locally owned service business could compete on quality with any operator in the country, provided it committed fully to technical rigour and honest delivery. Today he leads the company’s strategic direction and remains closely involved in key client engagements.

Ebiakpo Tonye

Ebiakpo Tonye oversees all technical operations at Aghomi Energy, bringing over twelve years of hands-on engineering experience in well services, pipeline construction, and equipment operations across the Niger Delta and eastern producing states. He has supervised complex drilling campaigns and multi-phase pipeline projects for operators ranging from indigenous E&P companies to international contractors, earning a reputation for methodical problem-solving and keeping operations running cleanly under pressure. Ebiakpo holds the technical teams to the same standard he applied when working in the field himself, and his insistence on proper planning before mobilisation is a significant part of why Aghomi’s project delivery record is what it is.

Ovie Eruotor

Ovie Eruotor has spent a decade building and managing health, safety, and environmental programmes for oil and gas operations across the Niger Delta, working on projects that required navigating both regulatory complexity and the specific community dynamics of operating in this region. At Aghomi Energy he is responsible for developing site-specific HSE plans, leading pre-mobilisation risk assessments, and maintaining the safety culture across every project team the company fields. He holds a NEBOSH International General Certificate and has managed incident-free campaigns across multiple simultaneous project sites. Ovie’s approach is practical and non-negotiable: safety is built into how a job is planned, not bolted on at the end.

Preye Ikomi

Preye Ikomi manages Aghomi Energy’s client relationships and commercial growth, drawing on eight years of experience working in business development roles within Nigeria’s oil and gas services sector across the south-south, Lagos, and the eastern producing states. She has a strong track record of building long-term relationships with both indigenous operators and the procurement arms of international oil companies, and understands what clients in this industry actually need from a service partner beyond the technical spec. Preye joined Aghomi because she believed in the quality of what the company was delivering and wanted to ensure the right clients could see it. She leads all new client engagements from initial conversation through to contract, and stays close to existing clients throughout the life of their projects.

Certifications &
Regulatory Standing

Operating in the Nigerian oil and gas sector carries serious regulatory obligations, and we approach them with the same seriousness we bring to the technical side of our work. We hold the required registrations and certifications, keep them current, and structure our projects around meeting compliance requirements from day one rather than scrambling at the end.

Bringing a properly registered, compliant service partner onto a project reduces risk, simplifies approvals, and gives operators confidence that the regulatory side of the engagement is handled correctly — regardless of which state or region the project is in.
